Warning: I am in a very sarcastic mood today. Read at your own risk.
This past Tuesday I hit 35 weeks along. Seriously only 5 weeks left. Only. Yeah, feels more like 10 more months. Is it so wrong to want this baby out of me in 16 more days?? He'll be 37 1/2 weeks by then and that is considered full term and I am completely PERFECT with having him 2 1/2 weeks early. PLEASE?!. As of Monday he was already weighing in at over 7 lbs (more than I was when I was BORN). That's a good size baby. GET OUT NOW LITTLE MAN!
I feel gigantic. Don't I look it? At least the huge belly makes my leg's look little. :) This picture was taken today. Thanks Char! I didn't have to try to take a picture in the bathroom again. That was awesome. At my Dr. Appt on Monday I was measuring that I'm 44 weeks pregnant. Awesome. Didn't know you could go that far into a pregnancy.
Also, the past couple weeks it's all I can do to get my under wear to stay up around my hips. Yesterday they kept falling down around my legs any time I moved. Talk about an embarrassing trip to WalMart with my boss. I should have made a game of it. It would have been called "Let's try to guess how many times Jamie has to pull her under wear up!" Let's just say it was a lot. And in public.
Not that you really wanted to know that info, but I really wanted the disclaimer out there so if you see me (or have seen me) with my hands in my pants arguing with my under wear, you'll already know and be like "oh it's just Jamie, not some perv."

ReplyDeletei know i keep saying this. but really. try to be happy not grumpy that he is still in there. you have no idea what a blessing it is. i know you are uncomfortable, but try and remember he is safest in your tummy. and you do look cute pregs :)
ReplyDeleteI love you Alli. I know you keep saying it & you have every reason to. I could NEVER EVER be upset at you for saying it. I would even be ok with you hitting me a little to try and get it stuck in my head. But you know me too & know that I whine. A lot. For you I shall rescind my GET OUT NOW statement.
ReplyDeleteThe last 4 weeks are the worst. They feel like 4 months. But yes, you really do want him in there as long as possible. Even thought 37 weeks is considered full-term, there can still be complications. Most doctors (at least IHC Drs) won't induce before 39 weeks unless medically neccicary for that reason. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteYou look super cute! And I love your maternity shirt. Are your hips killing you yet? I had such a hard time sleeping those past few weeks because my hips hurt so dang bad. I hope your sweet baby comes soon--as long as he's healthy.
