Many of you know that BJ went to doggy heaven last week. He became completely paralyzed within 7 days, and his overall health had deteriorated so quickly that we felt it was best for him not to suffer anymore. The decision to put him to sleep was one of THE hardest decisions I have ever had to make. BJ was one of my best friends for the last 7 1/2 years. He was with me through all of my ups and downs. He slept next to me almost every night, gave me all the hugs and kisses I wanted, licked my feet and D's face regularly, snuggled with me on the couch any time I wanted, and was one of the greatest companions I've ever had.
I miss him so much.

How sad! I am so sorry that BJ had to suffer and that you had to make such a difficult decision. I'm sure that BJ is enjoying doggie heaven and missing you very much. I'm glad you took some time to retreat to the mountains. What beautiful pictures! I can't believe how big and adorable Baby J is! I especially love the pic of him in glasses. Super duper cute!
